Our customizable formulary, designed by our team of registered pharmacists, sensitively balances your injured workers' needs for convenience with your need to control drug costs.

Clinical Services Program

Prescription medications represent approximately 12% of the total cost per claim, so First Script offers two levels of clinical review to protect you and your claimants.   First, our fsControl™ formulary anticipates and manages drug use proactively by applying a comprehensive set of drug utilization review (DUR) controls prior to dispensing.   Second, our fsReview™ program assesses proper dosing, frequency, drug interactions, and medication use related to the identified injury.   Claims examiners receive a detailed analysis of the findings which can be utilized to manage drug usage and cost.
